Paintings and drawings can be commissioned - I specialise in landscapes and architectural studies (such as house and garden portraiture). They can make great personal presents, for people who are retiring, moving house (but would like a unique representation of their former home) or for someone who might now find it very difficult to gain access to a favourite view - one that would ideally suit a painting (rather than just a photo). I welcome illustration work, either as line drawings or paintings, for historical, architectural and landscape publications.

My preferred medium is watercolour (once the general composition is finalised with the customer). I can work in other mediums of choice. I can also produce observational drawings/illustrations for architects and charitable organisations who need someone to record, for example, historic buildings/sites that are under threat of demolition/removal.

I mainly work from my own photographs and sketches completed on site but I can work from customers photographs. Prices start at around £250 depending on distance travelled for site visits etc. (allowing approx. 2-4 weeks before completion).
