November Snow - Biggin Dale

The first snow of winter fell overnight in November 2004, followed by a keen frost - making for a wonderfully clean, crisp landscape which suits the richness of oil paint - cool blue snow shadows contrasting with the warmth of winter sunlight. The stream seen here in Biggin Dale eventually meets up with the R. Dove in Wolfscote Dale.
