Shutlingsloe from the Roaches - Staffordshire

Shutlingsloe, above Wild Boar Clough, is a very obvious landmark when walking northwards along the atmospheric Roaches. In this painting I've focused on a small area of landscape (compared to On top of the Roaches) using the perspective of the field shapes to lead the eye to the distant hill, with late autumn heather adding contrast in the foreground.
